Planit Consulting has secured approval for three contemporary three storey accessible and adaptable townhouses on an incredibly difficult brownfield site in Farnham.
An initial Prior Approval Change of Use application was submitted followed by Planning Application to replace the existing 1960s dance hall with three contemporary townhouses.
The Planning and Architectural teams worked tirelessly over a three-year period to navigate a changing political landscape, alterations to national policy, and convoluted Planning system. The resultant proposal overcame the challenging site topography, and proximity to The Old Church Lane Conservation Area with a sensitive and attractive scheme compliant with building regs part M4 for accessible and adaptable dwellings. The scheme eventually gained approval at Waverley Planning Committee with a unanimous decision from all 12 voting councillors.
